Dataset: PISA 2009

Abstract

The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) is a worldwide survey comparing school students' performance in all OECD countries. It aims to evaluate education systems and to help improve quality, equity and efficiency in education systems worldwide.
PISA tests 15-year-old school pupils' scholastic performance on mathematics, science, and reading. The assessment also collects information on students' backgrounds and on how their schools are managed in an effort to identify the factors that influence student performance.
It was first performed in 2000 and then repeated every three years. The most recently published results are from the assessment in 2012.
